GOAL:
Create a marketing campaign to launch the first-ever Taste of Home Wine Club, a subscription wine delivery program.
This was the first email created to launch the TOH Wine Club. I kept the copy real simple and drove traffic to the quiz on our website. We added mood shots, a pricing grid and a picture of our Executive Culinary Director, Sarah Farmer, to inform our audience that this was a Test Kitchen-approved promotion.

RESULTS:
This collaboration was the most successful third-party partnership for Trusted Media Brands, the company that owns Taste of Home. I was the lead copywriter on the marketing launch, which generated over $10,000 in its first week.

We tested an updated version against our control. I felt incorporating a “How to” section in the middle explained the benefits more clearly to our audience. The test won by 23% and became the new control.
